The Doctor is responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients’ health conditions through evidence-based medical practices. This role involves performing medical examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing appropriate treatments, and providing preventive healthcare advice. The Doctor ensures compassionate patient care, maintains high ethical standards, and collaborates closely with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective treatment.
Conduct thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical histories and performing physical examinations.
Diagnose diseases, injuries, and other health conditions based on clinical findings and diagnostic reports.
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Prescribe and administer medications, therapies, and other interventions.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as necessary.
Provide compassionate care with a strong emphasis on patient confidentiality and trust.
Request and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic investigations.
Perform minor surgical procedures, wound care, and other clinical interventions within area of expertise.
Utilize modern medical equipment and electronic health records effectively.
Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and lifestyle management.
Conduct medical screenings and vaccination programs.
Participate in health awareness campaigns and public health initiatives.
Work closely with nurses, pharmacists, therapists, and other specialists for coordinated care.
Refer patients to appropriate specialists when required.
Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and ward rounds.
Support the development of junior medical staff and interns through mentorship and training.
Stay updated with current medical research, technologies, and evidence-based practices.
Participate in clinical audits, research studies, and quality improvement programs.
Contribute to hospital protocols and standard operating procedures.
Uphold medical ethics, confidentiality, and patient rights at all times.
Ensure compliance with local health laws, hospital regulations, and licensing requirements.
Report and document adverse events or unusual cases appropriately.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
Ability to work under pressure and manage emergency situations.
Proficiency with clinical documentation systems and electronic health records.

Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
Postgraduate qualification (MD, MS, DNB, or equivalent) in a relevant specialty (preferred).
Valid medical license from the national medical council or regulatory body.
Minimum 2–10 years of clinical experience in hospital or private practice settings.
Proven record of patient management across diverse medical conditions.
Experience in emergency, outpatient, or inpatient care is an advantage.
Hospital, clinic, or healthcare facility setting.
May require rotational shifts, night duties, and emergency on-call availability.
Exposure to various clinical and laboratory environments.
